IFA President and CEO Matthew Shay previewed the association's 2010
Economic Outlook on CNBC's midday program "Power Lunch" Tuesday,
noting economic realities -- lack of credit access and consumer
confidence -- and policy issues -- health care, card check and climate
change -- affecting the franchising industry. Joining Shay was The UPS
Store franchisee George Berkley, who recently opened his South Orange,
N.J. store by self-funding it.
