Credit Suisse changed ratings on fast-food operators, lifting McDonald's to outperform from neutral and lifting its price target to $71 from $69, while cutting Burger King to neutral from outperform and reducing its price target to $21 from $23. The broker said estimates and valuation don't fairly reflect the ability of McDonald's to build upon share gains through a several-year recovery period, while it's less enthused by Burger King because industry conditions and increasing tensions with franchisees have pushed realizing the benefits from remodels and improving restaurant-level operations to fiscal 2011 to fiscal 2012.
